Glutamine the most abundant amino acid. Why is it so important? personally i love glutamine i use 20-30 grams of high grade glutamine after my work out every day. What i dont like is companies claiming to have glutamine in there protein but they put a little star next to it. In the fine print you can see all it has is glutamic acid which is not Glutamine. Glutamine is a very volitile amino acid so it has to be kept in a cool temperature. if not you will find that it clumps and gets hard like a rock . if it does do that throw it out, its ruined. the other thing with glutamine you want to make sure that you always use it after your workout and not before your work out. it can upset your stomach. and on a leg day you do not want to be throwing up any thing other than the weight. the best glutamine i have used so far is
Designs for health in which i sell at my gym. it is the only glutamine i will use
another good one is ast gl75. i enjoy that product when i run out of my designs powder.
you can tell the differance .

With Creatine and many other supplements I can the difference in quality. For some reason I never got great results from glutamine. I have micronized fermapure L-glutamine from Ultimate Nutrition right now. I usually dose 5-15g post workout at a bodyweight of 240lbs. Would you recommend increasing the serving? Should I take it with an high G.I. carb maybe grape juice?
